Dale Edward Bert, born, Moline, Illinois, March 07, 1962, has been airbrushing since the age of 12. His repertoire includes designing motorcycle/motocross helmets and motorcycle and automotive graphics and artwork, but his passion lies in creating Fine Art with his airbrush. His works of art largely depict his love for motorcycles, automobiles and wild animals. He has thousands of hours in perfecting his considerable skill. Dale also has an extensive background in metal crafting; he creates anything from whimsical sculptures to lawn ornaments, iron gates, and anything in between. He lives by the motto, “if it can be dreamt up, it can be built.” Dale would like his fine art to be enjoyed by all as he believes beauty exists in many shapes and forms.
“I have always been told art should evoke emotion. It is much easier to evoke anger or sadness, but serenity is also an emotion. Sometimes in our world today it is much harder to take the viewer to a place away from their stress, allow them to calm down and relax, to remember a moment when their worries just disappeared. There is simple beauty in most of the things around us, sometimes you just have to look at it from a different perspective.”
Dale enjoys motorcycles and motocross and has been a member of the Tri-City Motorcycle Club for over eight years. He has served for six years on the Executive Board. He is married and has three children and a stepdaughter and currently resides in the Midwest.
